Naval Architect and Marine Engineer graduated in Genova (Italy), he has gained over 10 years experience as marine surveyor working on behalf H&M Underwriters, P&I Clubs and maritime Law Firms.
As Casualty Investigation Expert he acted on a number of notable cases on developing own VDR analysis software and other tools.
He is Certified as Navigational Auditor by DNV–GL and he had developed a specific remote auditing scheme for the execution of unannounced remote audit based on VDR review.
Master Mariner with more than 20 years experience at sea, in the last 20 years he worked as independent marine surveyor
specialized in collision and grounding accidents involving study of dynamics and collection of evidences and statements
(analysis of more than 150 cases) on behalf of H&M Underwriters, P&I Clubs and Owners.
He acted as Technical Advisor for Courts, Maritime Formal Inquiry Commissions and Arbitration cases.
Master Mariner with more than 15 years at sea, he worked 16 years in
an IACS Class Society in different positions from surveyor and auditor (ISM-ISPS -MLC)
to Operation Manager and professional trainer.
He has been working as marine surveyor working on behalf H&M Underwriters, P&I Clubs and maritime Law Firms since 2019
for casualty investigations and loss prevention surveys (JH2013/007 A/B/C).
